Reporting Overview
The reporting feature of Total Control drives improvements to business performance through monitoring customer approvals and administrative logs. The Total Processing reports included are dynamic and react to date changes. This guide provides you with an in-depth understanding of these reports.
Approval Reporting
The Approval Report helps merchants view the methods of transactions being used as well provide a comparison of failed versus successful transactions that have occurred. Click through the tabs below for the steps on how to use the Approval Report.

Approval Report Navigation
To locate and refine the Approval Report, log in to your Total Control dashboard, simply following the steps below:
- Navigate to the 'Reports' section within the navigation bar
- Next, use the 'Report' drop-down list at the top of the page to locate the associated 'Approval Report'
- Further refine your report by using the following additional filters
Merchant If you are working with multiple channels, use this filter to choose the appropriate channel you would like to see the data for. Time Customise your approval report to show you data with a daily, weekly or monthly view. Data Range Choose a specific period of time you would like to view data for. Download Reports If you require your report information to present to members of your business, simply click on the 'Download Reports' drop-down list and choose your preferred download method.

Understanding Approval Report Data
The information below will help you to understand the Approval Report, both in graphical representation and raw format.
The graphical representation of approval data allows you to clearly view trends over days, weeks and months. As seen in the image, merchants also have the functionality to tick or untick the different card types if only particular payment methods need to be included in the graph.
The Raw data fields allow merchants to view the different components of the Approval Report. Review the listing below to understand these different components.
Merchant This is the name of the merchant account associated with the business. Channel Merchants that operate with multiple channels will have a table row dedicated to each channel that takes payments. Total Transactions This column provides merchants with the total amount of transactions taken within the date range set. Successful / Failed Transactinos The two columns 'Successful Transactions' and 'Failed Transactions' will always be equal to the amount of transactions listed in the Total Transactions column. Visa, Master and AMEX The two columns 'Successful Transactions' and 'Failed Transactions' will always be equal to the amount of transactions listed in the Total Transactions column. Understanding User Report Data
The listing below provides you with an understanding of the data held within the User Report.
Email The name of the user's email related to the activity. First and Last Name These columns detail the full name of the employee related to the activity log. Time of Action The date and time the activity was performed by a user. Action Relates to the specific action performed by a user. Type A class overview of the 'Action' column.
