Overview

To ensure security of credentials for a merchant's account, including a merchant's Access Token and Entity ID, NomuPay has implemented a secure and easy way for merchants to view their credentials in the Dashboard dashboard.

Credentials Explained

The next sections will help you to understand what Entity IDs and Access Tokens are as part of your credential set, as well as provide you with a detailed explanation on how you can view your current credentials in Dashboard.

Entity ID

An Entity ID is used across markets and jurisdictions to uniquely identify a legally distinct entity that engages in a financial transaction.

Access Token

Access tokens are used in token-based authentication to allow an application to access an Application Programming Interface (API). They contain a header, payload and signature.

Locating Credentials in Dashboard

To locate your credentials in Dashboard, simply follow the steps below. Please ensure your login contains 'High Level' access permissions. Only users set up with these permissions will be able to access the sections in the next steps.

    1. Log in to your Dashboard account and navigate to the 'Credentials' tab.
    2. Next, click on the eye symbol to view your credentials
    3. Finally, click on the right-hand side drop down arrow to view your currency credentials set up under your merchant account.

Please note, you will only be able to view your credentials once, so it is best to copy them once obtained and place them into a secure folder of your choice. If you cannot view your credentials due to having already viewed them once, please contact help@nomupay.com, with details of your full name and email. A member of the support team will then reactivate your ability to view your credentials.
